Do I need to bring my own fishing gear?No, you don't need to bring your own fishing gear. We provide all the necessary equipment, including rods, reels, lines, and tackle boxes, as part of our guided tours.

Do I need a fishing license?No, Calm Water Fishing has acquired all the necessary permits and licences required for your tour. Our team can assist you with information on how to obtain a license if needed.

What should I bring with me on the fishing tour?We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, appropriate clothing for the weather, a hat, and any personal items you may need. It's also a good idea to pack some snacks and drinks for your comfort. We will provide a cooler to store your refreshments.

Is the fishing tour suitable for beginners?Absolutely! Our fishing tours cater to anglers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced fishermen. Dan will provide guidance and tips to help beginners feel comfortable and learn the basics of fishing.

What happens if the weather is unfavourable on the scheduled tour date?If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe or unfavourable for fishing, we will work with you to reschedule your tour for a better day. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities.

Can I bring my own fishing gear if I prefer?Yes, you are welcome to bring your own fishing gear if you prefer. However, we take pride in providing top-quality equipment, so you can trust our gear to enhance your fishing experience.

Do you offer fishing tours for large groups or corporate outings?Due to the boat size we have a maximum of up to 4 people. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific requirements, and we will do our best to tailor a fishing tour package to suit your needs.

What is your pay-per-loss lure policy?Our pay-per-loss lure policy means that if any hard body lures are lost or damaged during the tour, we kindly ask our guests to reimburse us for the cost of the lost lures. This policy allows us to maintain the high quality of our equipment for future anglers. Pay-per-loss lure policy which applies to hard body lures only. All soft plastics and other lures are included in the charter price.
